It is delegate’s responsibility to investigate the visa requirements for Paris and to apply for a visa, if necessary.
Delegates who require an entry visa must consider sufficient time for the application procedure and should contact the nearest French Embassy or Consulate as early as possible to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications.

Delegates from some countries will be requested a ‘tourist’ visa to enter the country.

Visas should be applied on time before departure as the application process can take several weeks.
Visa applications must be submitted in person at the French representation in the respective countries.
Delegates are reminded to submit all documentation required, including the official letter of invitation (if requested).
An official invitation letter can be downloaded from the online services for pre-registered people.
Please note that if a visa is refused because of late application or incomplete form the registration fee will not be refunded.
